Fanie Jocelyn is a Micro-Credentialing Advocate at Broward College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She is passionate about giving back to her community and can be found volunteering in her spare time. Jocelyn is most proud of her personal story of triumph that has informed her life decisions, including becoming a mentor to teen mothers.
Jocelyn holds a bachelors in Criminal Justice with a minor in Linguistics from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). While in college, she served as President of the Black Student Union (Broward College), President of the FAU Davie Dance Club, and was a member of Roots clubs, Konbit Kreyol, and many more.
Today Jocelyn continues to mentor students at Seagull Alternative High school and was the keynote speaker at their 2017 graduation. She is proud to serve as the Treasurer, and Secretary for Voice of Girls Can Move Mountains.
